Hey, look, I'm here!

This is the first post in what will hopefully become a weekly updated diary of our canning and bread baking adventures, success and failures. Challenging recipes and intriguing ingredients will, if all goes correctly, be a running theme. We know we still have a lot to learn, so anything that does not go as planned will inevitably be discussed here. Alex will head the bread baking activities and Julia will be on Jam and preserve duty. Now that we have a plethora of flour, jars, yeast and fruit, let us begin!
